The University is committed to increasing and enhancing opportunities for people with disabilities and medical conditions to access higher education and graduate employment. This commitment is based on the principle of universal access for all people utilising Murdoch University's resources.

A Resource Guide for Students with a Disability or Medical Condition

 

Continuing Students

Equity Quality Assisted Learning (EQAL)

EQAL is a type of learning plan designed to support students with a disability or medical condition with their tertiary studies.  It functions like a passport with students being able to access assistance through a series of visa like endorsements.
Participation will be on a voluntary basis commencing in 2007.

Disability Access Plan - 2006

The 'Disability Access Plan: Putting Access into Action (DAP) and a supporting Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) have been developed in consultation with students and staff of Murdoch University.   The DAP provides the overarching objectives for the University to manage over the next 5 years.  The SIP, once ratified, will be the working aspect of the access planning process.
