Murdoch Ally Program

EQUITY ACCESS & DIVERSITY

Murdoch Ally Program:
you can make a difference

The Equity, Access & Diversity (EAD) Office is dedicated to improving campus climate for all Murdoch students, staff and faculty, by developing and supporting more inclusive understandings of gender and sexuality.

We recognize the intersections of gender and sexuality with race, ethnicity, class, ability, age, culture, and all social systems; we are committed to holding ourselves and others accountable for working against all forms of oppression.

The
Ally Program has been identified as a successful strategy in providing information to students and staff on issues related to sexuality and gender identity, reducing homophobic incidents across campuses as well as providing a forum for increasing awareness of cultural diversity and difference.

Through Ally and the EAD Office we seek to bridge and build communities that create affirming and welcoming environments in which people can be their whole selves and which honour all identities and experiences
